show cause notice issued by the Chief Executive Officer (District Education Authority) Rahim Yar Khan to two teachers,

- Mr. Abdul Ghaffar SST (CS), of Govt. Boys High School Said Pur, Tehsil Liaquatpur.
Reason for Notice: The teachers were found absent from duty without prior permission during a school visit on September 11, 2025, which constitutes “Misconduct” under the PEEDA Act 2006.
Action Proposed: The authority proposes to proceed against them under Section 5(1)(a) read with Section 7(b) of the PEEDA Act 2006.
Response Required: The teachers are required to submit a written reply to the show cause notice and are also provided an opportunity for a personal hearing on September 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM to present their defense and supporting documents.

Subject: SHOW CAUSE NOTICE UNDER SECTION 5(1) (a) READ WITH SECTION 7(b) OF THE PEEDA ACT 2006
WHEREAS, the undersigned as Competent Authority, under the Punjab Employees Efficiency and Accountability Act 2006, in due consideration of the facts of this case is of the view that there are sufficient grounds to proceed against you on the following charges:
That the undersigned visited your school today on 11.09.2025 and during the visit it is pointed out that both of you were found absent from your duty without prior permission and approval of leave which amounts to “Misconduct” as defined under section 2 (n) (vii) of the PEEDA Act 2006.
AND WHEREAS, the undersigned is of the opinion that it is not necessary to hold further enquiry into the matter in view of the provisions contained in Section 5 (1) (b) of the Act ibid. It is therefore, proposed to proceed against you under Section 5 (1) (a) read with Section 7 (b) Punjab Employees Efficiency and Accountability Act 2006.
NOW THEREFORE, you are hereby once again called upon to show cause in writing on mentioned below date as to why one or more penalties as prescribed in Section 4 of the Punjab Employees Efficiency and Accountability Act 2006 should not be imposed upon you.
Your reply to the show cause notice should reach the undersigned on fixed date of hearing, failing which it shall be presumed that you have no defense to offer.
In case you desire to consult any record, on which the aforesaid charges are based or is relevant to the aforesaid charges, you may do so with prior arrangement with the undersigned within three days of the receipt of this notice.
You are also provided an opportunity of personal hearing on 13-09-2025 at 10:00 AM with the direction to appear before the undersigned for submission of your written defense with defensive documents/proves.
